4K HD tv or 3D tv what should I buy??? [Help needed]

Planing to get a new tv soon and started to check the models, picture quality and price. I've decided that it will be a an LG tv because of the price and quality. Like to buy Samsung but they are way more expensive and offer little or nothing more than the LG.
The guy that works at the electronics shop is trying to convince me to get a 4K tv instead od Full HD 3D tv as he says there is little to watch on 3D.. But there is nothing to wach on 4K also..
If you have a 4K or 3D tv or know this stuff help is appreciated

I don't have either of these but I know 4k is so beautiful but I feel like it is better for video games and such. I don't know what other benefits it has. I don't know much about the 3D tv but yeah there would be less to watch on 3D than there will be eventually on 4k since I think 4k will stay around for a while. Because not only video games, but more movies and also youtube videos are becoming 4k and it is great.
