How are your resolutions holding up.

January is almost half over. I used to make New year's Resolutions, which would be long-forgotten by this time of the month. So, nowadays, I try to make a couple of "resolutions" aka goals at the beginning of each month, in addition to writing out a comprehensive weekly to-do list each Sunday evening. Of course, my routine is completely thrown out when our daughter is on school break - her winter break is 4.5 weeks long. It ends Tuesday....bring on my re-organization. Until next time! BellaDoc

The winter breaks in your area are really very very long. The kids stop for two weeks in winter here.

@BellaDoc Easter is only one week here, Christmas two weeks, only the summer breaks are longer, 8 weeks in total.

@LadyDuck Yes @LadyDuck this is closer to the norm here in the USA. My daughter's school district educates the children for 180 days a year, in theory although many of them are half days. Some places educate 178 days a year.

So far so good. I have a tracker in my planner for all my goals and what I intend to do for this year.

@toniganzon That sounds like a sensible and organized way to approach your goals and objectives.

@BellaDoc I just realized if I want to stick to my resolution I have to commit to it and what better way to remind me than to track it.

@toniganzon Yes - there is some expression along the lines of "if you can't measure it, it can't happen..."

The only resolution I made this year is to try and enjoy as many beautiful sunsets as I possibly can! And twenty-something days into the new year, I am still going strong! My son and I watched a beautiful sunset this evening as we were on a geo-caching adventure!

@BellaDoc I had a really stressful year last year, so I am making a point to do more things to help me relax and enjoy life this year. It doesn't get any better than watching a beautiful sunset!

I don't make resolutions. I always have some goals....they are, hopefully, attainable and realistic. I generally arrive at my goals.

@BellaDoc yes they are smart goals. I have finished several projects already this year....and I have not spent any money to finish them...I've used materials I had purchased in the past.

I didn't really make a resolution except for to work on my youtube channel and I'm working on a second video for it so that is something. I don't like resolutions haha That is a really good idea to do though, instead of making one big resolution to just spread them out so it isn't overwhelming!

Didn't do any resolutions this year. I do have plans and so far I'm doing something each day to make those plans into fruition.

I did not make any resolutions. This is the second year in a row that I have not made any. It is quite liberating to be honest!

I've never made any simply because I couldn't think of anything I was sure I wanted to do.

We don't make resolutions for many reasons. Hope you enjoyed the time off with your daughter. It goes so fast.

I don't know how I missed this - but I guess life got in the way. I can never remember New Year resolutions and don't bother making them now. But we have a list where we write stuff we need to do or remember and we add to that as needs be.

It sounds like you know how to get things accomplished. I hope to exercise more regularly but I am not pushing myself.
