The young teenaged that work weekends. I swear they are always calling in sick.
Friday night the one girl asked if I could finish or close her shift so would be 4 hours. I said I work the other job but because she claimed to have a kidney infection and had to go to the hospital right away. For one it was 1.5 hours you won't die, and she knew least a few days before she had one why the hurry now. I do believe she's lying half the time because if someone is having that many bladder infection, kidney infection and such multiple times a month then you need a specialist . But again I've worked with both and completed my shifts.
The other girl called in sick today so I am working 6an to 2pm. I am not use to this shift at all.
But the fact they are always calling in sick. I feel for the manager as its myself and Jim covering. Now this week I worked 50 hours here alone.

@ricki_911 It makes no sense. At least it gives you more shifts.

I don't know how they still have a job in the least bit. They constantly have a reason and I usually cover the shifts, then when they need the money they work.

I believe they are immature and not ready for life just yet. They seem to want the easy way out and for sure will affect them later on.

It certainly will! Most jobs won't allow them to call in sick this much if you are sick this much then a visit to the doctor.
