Today, we are at the middle part of January and finally the weather is warming up for the next few days.
We have had some extremely cold days and nights where I did not even put my nose out of our nice and warm house.
But I know that tomorrow and Tuesday I do have to go out, so today I will still stay in even if the weather is a bit better.
Any plan to go somewhere today?

Stay warm and safe! Our weather has been flip-flopping. Very cold with ice and rain, then warm again, then cold again and next week we will have 50's and 60's again. The thing about NC, if you don't like the weather, just hang on a few minutes and it will change.

@MarshaMusselman I saw on the news this morning that next week is going to be cold again (below freezing) nearly every morning. I am not going to enjoy that.

@Shellyann36 Even in NC it's supposed to get that cold? I don't think it's supposed to be that cold here even. It is dropping below the thirty degree mark though, which it hasn't done for about a week and I'm sure it will go down more than that sometime in February. I'm not looking forward to that either.

Our weather has been on the warmer side with rain but I'm not complaining. I'm just happy it isn't snow

With the warm weather we have been having here in Florida, I wish I could take off and head to the beach; but unfortunately, I have to work. And my next 4-5 weekends are booked pretty solid with projects and visits from friends, so I may not be able to get to the beach until actual Spring arrives!

@marlina I know! My life as a Floridian is a tough one! But I suppose you might be a little jealous and therefore sending us some of your cold weather. They are predicting we are going to see temperatures dip into the 20's next week (-1.6 C).

It's somewhat warmer here too, in Michigan, but we've also been getting a lot of freezing rain, or rain and then freezing temps making everything icy around here. Some of the extra water finally seeped into the ground in the last few days so there's not so much standing water everywhere. Lakes in everyone's lawn is what it looks like.

@marlina At least I've not had to use the snow blower every day or several times per week like I've done in years past. I just hope all the snow doesn't come late spring, or at the end of February early March since I won't be able to help clear it then at all. Not even sure right now how long I will have to wait until I can help do that sort of thing after my knee surgery.

I may go out to pick up my granddaughter for a bit. Have to bake a cake at some point and maybe some cookies. Feels like a baking day! It will warm the place up nicely.

Hmm how wise. I would love to have the choice not to go out. Today I do not intend to as it is Sunday and my family are coming for dinner today! Keep warm and cosy Marlina
