We are all going to be celebrating the life of a great man tomorrow. He is someone we can all be proud to have had influence our lives.
I think that Martin Luther King Jr. was a very compelling and interesting character in our history. He was a good student and skipped 9th and 12th grade in high school before enrolling at Morehouse College. He was 15 when he went to college and graduated with a degree in sociology. He had three generations of Baptist ministers in his family. His father, grandfather and great grandfather. But, he didn't want to follow in the family vocation. That is until the president of Morehouse, Benjamin E. Mays, convinced him it was the way to go.
