Bizarre Critter

I like all kinds of critters as you all know, but once in a while something unique, weird, strange and something that throws you back to prehistoric times shows up. Apparently Floridians had the accidental opportunity to come across an animal that has been named Humpback.
Everybody knows what a crocodile or an alligator looks like, right? Well, maybe not. This creature is massive and reminds you of the dinosaur era. Because of his tremendous size; 12-feet long and weight? That's anybody's guess. Somehow I don't think he'd allow me to throw a saddle on him and take a ride.
Photographers flanked both sides of a gigantic gator to capture the massive reptile strutting across a path. The video was shot at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida on Sunday.

I have been to Lakeland many times. I love that place. This is very cool. I remember we spent one whole day trying to find alligators so I could see one. Imagine if we would have run into this creature???

@nanette64 Yes it definitely would have. I seen alligators from a distance and that was close enough for me. I wouldn't want this one to cross my path...lol

It's truly amazing what is roaming this planet @JohnRoberts . So maybe the Yeti isn't so far fetched either.

@nanette64 Every time that I have been face to face with a crocodile or an alligator I had the feeling that those big guys were considering my height and weight to see if I was interesting enough for a lunch.

I read this news. It is hard for me to believe. We don't have chances to see big animals here except for in the zoo. So if I ever saw it there, I thought I would feel scared and scream. I wonder whether the crocodile can walk fast. I can't run very fast and this is worried me.

I know the 'regular' sized ones can move pretty quickly and imagine even this big guy can too @youless .

I saw this on the news last night. The reporter said people are trying to figure out if it's real or not.
