Well, tomorrow is the open house for the school we want to send my eldest daughter for kindergarten. Eventually, we will send our two others as well. But for now it's just my eldest.
My husband will be going with my eldest tomorrow. I have some training that I can't really miss, but at least my husband can go with her. We already have an appointment to register her, as well.
It's hard to believe that registration and the open house is already here. It's hard to believe that we're registering her for kindergarten and she'll be starting in September. I can't believe how big she's getting. Next January, we'll be doing the same for my second daughter, which is also hard to believe. And I know that September will come quickly, and next January will come just as quickly.
I'm really proud of them and am really looking forward to send them to kindergarten, but at the same time, they're growing up so fast and I am a little sad that it's happening already. But such is life. At least, I will always have the memories and photos.

@Happy2BeMe She is such a good big sister, for sure. It was really sweet, when she told my husband that. But he reassured her that they would be alright. She's a good girl.

@dodo19 I know it is sad that they grow so quickly. She is a good big sister worrying about your sister and brother at home.

It is an exciting time for all and another step in her life. I'm happy your husband is available to go with her. She will have an enjoyable time there. I cried every time my kids got on the school bus for their first day of kindergarten. I wish I could have those days back.

I'm glad that he was able to go with her. He came back and was able to fill me in. It was useful information. I'm sure I'm going to cry when she starts school. And I'm sure it'll be the same with my two youngest ones. It's hard not to tear up just thinking about it. I'm sure I'll miss these days when they're older.

Oh that is always bittersweet sending your firstborn off to Kdg. In my case, as a single parent, I couldn't wait...No babysitting costs...yay!

The time goes so fast. Soon they will all be in school and you will wonder where the years went.

I know how you feel, i loved sending them to school and then college and grad school...Mine are in their 30's and 40's now. Hard to believe it seems like yesterday they were so young...
