Do you work for money or for pleasure?

Today a friend asked me this question, and I answered without thinking twice: "Why do I have to choose only one option? Whether by luck or not, I work for love and for money."
I can consider myself a lucky one, because the vast majority of people can't make that combo in professional life.

I work on my PC so since I love writing and getting some money then I could say that I work for both pleasure and money.

I work to make money in order to have more money that will work for me, that is my pleasure, the excess profit is also for pleasure but capital has to be returned and increased to make more.

Over 21 years the paid public speaking that I have never done has never felt like work.

I am doing what I love and I do make a bit of money--but not as much as my husband would like me to!

You can say that again. Most of us work at jobs we take no pleasure in just for that paycheck.
