why are designer clothes so expensive

why are clothes so expensive when there made by young kids in poor countries look at nike $200 for the new shoes or other clothing stores young childs are all day long making shoes for only a few dollars i think nike and other stores should do fair trade and give those childs a real change for living

uumh...because the marketing is really big part of this. they only want money money..
