so much water! hard to cross the street in places because there's a temporary river flowing down along the sidewalk curb. People who have lived in town for years are telling me it's the biggest they've ever seen.
My cynical side tells me the politicians will find some way for us still to be in a drought after this.

I've been here all my life . . . this is how it was in my childhood . . . but of course for a while now it has been bone dry from the drought. I have not seen this much rain in years - wow. They predicted this for last year, but it never happened for Southern CA. Yah . . . they say we will be out of the drought - but if this doesn't keep up, we'll be right in it again.

Be careful out there and people think climate change isn't real.

I've never been in a drought. Kansas was a bit dry from time to time but the wheat still grew. all I hear from California is how dry it is and water is sparse. Maybe after all this rain sinks in things will get better....or not. There is a drought of intelligence in Washington at the moment but I'm sure it has nothing to do with rain.

This is the most rain California have enjoyed in ages. The skiers and ski resort business will be thrilled.
