Are Genetically Modified Organisms GMOs safe? No One Knows

President Obama signed the H.R. 933 in 2013, a continuing resolution spending bill. This resolution allows companies (Monsanto) to genetically alter produce (GMO) without a threat of litigation. It bars federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of controversial genetically modified (GMO) no matter what health issues may arise. There has not been a long term study of GMOs. What is really evil about this is that these bills are so vast that in order for a president/branch of government to get any bill passed, they have to concede other parts of the same bill. What this boils down to is bad government. This one bill is 240 pages long. It is filled with words that are designed to be vague and confusing. These bills are written by lawyers contracted to serve the best interests of the corporations they work for or are hired by. This is how corporations get away with murder...literally.
