I Made A Different Kind Of Sandwich Earlier

I had some left over Tuna and Noodle Casserole that I made last night and got a wild idea this morning. I had a left over hamburger bun, so I thought, "why not heat up a little tuna casserole and put it inside the bun and eat it as a sandwich?" So that is what I did and it was good. I started thinking. Tuna and Noodle Casserole has noodles in it , just like Spaghetti and Lasagna have noodles in them. We eat bread, rolls or garlic bread with those pasta dishes, so by putting those pasta dishes between two pieces of bread, and eating them like a sandwich, it is just a different way of eating them. I googled Spaghetti Sandwich, Lasagna Sandwich and Tuna & Noodle Sandwich and they all exist. There are many photos of them.

However its my aim to eat less of this bread that we are buying and replace it with something else. But I have to admit its hard to kick that habit as I love bread too.

Didn't the bread get a little soggy? I've never had noodle casserole so I'm not really sure what's in it....except tuna which I don't eat. I know on "Mike and Molly" reruns the guys mom makes that all the time.

You can eat just about anything between two slices of bread. Sounds a good combination.

Have often eaten something similar to that too. Great idea and its often all I would eat at night as sometimes I don´t really get that hungry all depends. However these in my House don´t care for that so I have to do the Tea I don´t get away with one (grin).

Sounds good to me. Here is an interesting recipe I found for putting bread and pasta together and baking them
How to make Pasta Sandwich -Toasted bread slices topped with spicy macaroni mixture and mozzarella cheese and baked.

Sounds yummy. We make leftover meatloaf into a sandwich, among other things.

That's a lot of carbs. Definitely not allowed on my diet.

Yes, I was thinking, the only thing wrong with it , if you are counting calories is it is a lot of carbs.
