to ever play on their team in your opinion? **Well, they had many great Bear players back in the 80's. I think Ditka is the best coach for them of all times. But my favorite player from then would have to be Walter Payton.

I too would have to agree that Walter Payton was the best player ever to play with the Bears. He was terrific. Ditka was their best coach. I also like the Refrigerstor Perry and Jim McMahon when they played there.

Well, I had to pleasure to meet Jim McMahon's wife when he played for the Bears, and was dating a guy at the time that his dad did PR work for the bears. I just wish I could have met everyone on the team then, as they were awesome then.

I have to agree with you about Walter Payton. Loved the fridge too!! Out of the current team Brian Urlacher is my fave!

Yes, I would have Loved to meet the Fridge or Walter Payton back then. To think that my Ex-Fiance's dad at the time was doing PR work for the bears... and I think I remember him saying he had met the Fridge.

I totally agree with you. Ditka was a great coach. I think Lovie is going to go down in history too. Walter Payton was the best. I live by his restaurant in Aurora, IL. I believe the Bears are going to do it this year. No matter what the critics say. Yeah we lost to New England yesterday, but it's okay. Brian Greise should have played after Rex hurt his hand. We are going to win all the rest of our games. I have a vision of the Super Bowl........

Walter Payton was fun to watch, no question about it. I was just watching the complete history of the Chicago Bears DVDs, and watching Walter and Gale Sayers run in those clips just makes you marvel at the ablity both had.
