..and see if it sticks.
and in this case,it does.cat food,that is.
my cats have a habit of watching each other for the newest "thing".
if it looks good to one,the others start doing it.
well,my new youngest has a habit of eating really sloppily.i mean really really.
like somebody threw a can into a wood chipper.debree field everywhere.
now the 3 older are also doing it,where they weren't before.
i guess it was too much fun to resist.
yea..ants should be fun this summer.yeesh.

I'm sorry, I hated to laugh at this but I couldn't help it. I used to have multiple cats and they were the same way. I feel your pain. lol

Solution: I have always fed mine kibble and saved the canned foods as well as the cooked chicken as a treat once a week. Mine eat their canned food or chicken with gusto and I never have a mess ...... ok, they are messy in other ways but no with their food.

LOL! Sorry, but I had to laugh at this too, especially at the "wood chipper debris field", plus I was at first picturing them actually flinging food against the wall.
My cat can be a bit of a messy eater, especially with the canned food, although I give her a pass because she's missing some teeth (she came to me that way). Although, come to think of it, she manages to wolf down dry food pretty well, so I don't know...

We have had some pets like this over the years. Now, they are all tidy with the exception of one.
