The weather in the east is crazy

Last night in the southeast we had the tornado warnings for hours. At times it got very scary. I was watching the weather for the northeast, my original area and my family is still there, the weather is crazy. I saw where the wind gusts are over 60 miles an hour and they are expecting lots of snow. People heading to the trains in New York City reported the winds are about 54 miles and hour. I also saw the local news and it showed an area where all the houses are totally gone. A mobile home area had every house gone or flattened. Is it me or is the weather getting more weird and dangerous than normal?

Mother Nature works in cycles. Wait long enough and the weather will change.

Things have really changed, but too many are in denial when it comes to weather.

@PatZAnthony You are right and when the weather changes by them they seem to be in shock.

@Marty1 How much snow did you get? I don't miss shoveling. I do miss the cold weather sometimes as there is nothing like the crisp cool air.

@Marty1 I am so glad I was up north for a visit and saw snow. Actually, I saw to much snow as we got snowed in at the airport trying to fly home. We were suppose to leave at 6pm but ended up leaving 6 hours later and didn't get back to Florida until about 2am. It was a very long night.

Tell me about it. A warm and rainy weekend now, later a cold and snowy forecast by the end of the week.

@ramapo17 I know what you mean. I wore a light jacket and blouse yesterday to church instead of my winter coat and sweater. Crazy! Good idea you didn't put it away in your closet or in boxes.

@KristenH I knew it was better to keep some of the warmer things as I knew we would eventually visit up there again as our kids and grandsons are up there. Plus I loved some of my old winter clothes.

@KristenH People do not know what to wear any more. When we moved to Florida almost 2 years ago, my husband got rid of all his winter clothes. I kept some of mine and it came in handy last month when we went to visit family in New Jersey. I was set but my husband did complain about the cold some days.

It seems to me to be becoming wilder with each year. I feel very sorry for those who have lost their homes.

I cannot even imagine how they have to pick up and start all over again but their whole lives have been taken away.

It was very windy in the Lake Charles area which reminded of my former home in the mountains in Panama which can be very breezy at times.
