Not any longer I don't, although I used to until I found out that some people we knew were abusing the system. Now I make a monetry donation to the Children's Hospital and other charitable institutions. These donations happen throughout the year, rather than at Christmas.

Well, I have been known to donate at times other than Christmas as well to many places. I used to donate to Children's homes and hospitals a lot as well just to help keep the kids feeling more at home.

Yes, we always take an unfortunate child at Christmas and buy all there Christmas presents and food for Christmas, it is great to give back and help children who would otherwise not get anything.

I donate things to charity not just during the holidays' I regularly clean out my closet and I donate the close to the church to take to homeless shelters. I also give money when I can to the Lions club and what not.

Yes, it is great to know that the items are going to children who might not have much of a Christmas otherwise.

Yes, I even get my kids involved. Even when I wasn't so secure I felt it was important to give to people who couldn't do it for themselves. God Bless those who gives to others because people need help and not a tax cut.

I always donate to Toys for Tots. I actually did that recently, once the Dollar General store sat their box out for it.
I always still send money to my old workplace in upstate NY, they adopt 100's of angels for the Christmas season. So I send them some money to go and buy for as many of the little angels as they can.
I also help my MIL with the family she adopts at Christmas time (and Thanksgiving). We always get gifts for the family and try to stock them up on food for a few months.

Every Time I pass a salvation bell ringer I drop something in the buscket. Here they help people in financial need pay their heating bills. Some day I might need them. Our Doller Tree store has a box of toys seting on the counter and every time I go there I buy 2 or 3. It dosen't sound like much but it's what I can give.

I usually donate clothes, but sometimes I do donate certain items like bags, children school bag, stationeries (used pencil case and new color pencil),children story book and toys to Salvation Army at the state I live for sale at their shop of second hands item. The other one I donate in cash and groceries is a Non-Association or Non Government but a private maintained center for the Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children. This center depends 100% on the donation from the public.
