Couple of a 13 year old and a 19 year old

I think age doesn't matter as long as one of the pair isn't a child, as the 13 year old would be in this case. There is a huge difference in maturity at this age, both mentally and physically. I think it would be unwise for the parents of the 13 year old child to let her see the older man. I think it speaks volumes about the 19 year old that he would want to date a 13 year old girl instead of a girl his own age or older.

This just isn't right! for one thing, It sounds like the guy it taking advantage of the girl.

It really depends on a few things. One thing being whether the relationship is physical. If it is then that's illegal. If it's not, then I suppose it's not much different from being close friends with someone. Some 13 year olds are still very young and childish. Others prefer the company of adults because they are more mature or prefer more mature conversations and interests. Just as some 19 year olds are no more mature than some 13 year olds while others are quite grown up. Is it really fair to tell a child who doesn't fit in with people their own age that they can't have relationships with someone older or younger?

Not sure what the world is coming to. As far as I am concerned a 13 year old shouldn't be dating. In my country the 19 year old would could be charged with a crime.

I would think in most countries that it would be against the law @Timmsenne . The boy is definitely taking advantage of a young girl with apparently no brains or common sense.
