Well it seems apparant that the family enjoyed the German Noodles because they even found a maker on the Tupperware site. Now trying to find out if they are available in South Africa, otherwise I might have to get my friend to buy me one and send it VIA very expensive mail to me in SA. Isnt that just marvelous?

We use a similar thing that is made in stainless steel, much better than this. Do not forget that you need to make the Spaetzli directly over the HOT boiling water. A plastic thing does not sound the best item to use.

@pgntwo I hate plastic and I avoid plastic in my house as much as I can. I never use plastic with hot boiling water, I do not feel it's safe and clean.

That is a good point, actually. The maker I have is also stainless steel.

That is so funny! Who knew such a thing was made by Tupperware? Not me.

Do you have Tupperware parties in SA? My sister went to one just recently but didn't buy anything.

we do, I was an agent for over 10 years and now my daughter sells it for extra cash - but this product has not reached our shores yet, she has inquired. If they order me one, I shall show you all my fresh German noodles

@Inlemay Shortly I'm posting about Tupperware. I have two dishes and I don't know what they'd be used for so I'm putting it up here. :)

I am glad they liked your noodles. This is the first I am hearing of a Spatzle maker. We just cut them with a knife! Now I need a new gadget for my kitchen!
