I took a picture for those of you who don't get snow. It's so beautiful on the trees. I can enjoy it as I don't have to go out in it, which is a great blessing. My husband did all the shoveling and getting snow off the roof of the cottage and vehicles. Theres one thing I've wanted to do for so long and that is to be able to see a few snowflakes. I haven't a clue how to go about it. Any thoughts? picture by me

How do you get the snow off the roof? I'm curious.

@JudyEv My husband puts a ladder next to the cottage and takes a rake and pulls it off. It's not an easy job for sure. They do have regular roof rakes he said, but why buy it if the rake works, right!

@JudyEv Yes I believe that they do. My husband is in construction but refuses to work on those type of rooves as he is 63 and the heights get to him now.

@Butchcass4 And of course in some areas they build much steeper rooves don't they?

You are very welcome. I wished I were the type of person who would go out and make snow angels and snow man and threw snow balls all the fun things to do with snow. Especially driving snow mobiles, which with the small amount of snow we get any more would be a waste of money.

My daughter had an appointment that took us over the mountain and the snow had fallen leaving the trees and landscape looking quite beautiful. I wish I had taken some pictures or had my daughter do it for me. We had ice this morning. I had to drive to work early this morning with bad roads. Not something I particularly enjoy.

@ElusiveButterfly I can just imagine what you were seeing as our trees are all covered in snow, its breath taking. But I wouldn't want to have to drive in it. Bless your heart that you have to drive in it.
