Did the Lord answer their prayers?

Most of us have heard the country panama, if not atleast panama canal. But not many must have heard taboga islands, situated in the gulf of panama roughly 20-25 kms away from panama city. Catamarans connects the mainland and the island. The island use to be the home of pirates in the 17th and 18th century. San Pedro Church which is considered to be one of the oldest one in the western hemisphere is in taboga islands. The pirates before every operation use to visit this church and offer prayers for blessings and after the operation was successful they gave a lot of donations to the church. And this is how the town of san pedro slowly grew and got into shape as the present one, a great tourist attraction now. I wonder whether the lord would have answered the pirates prayers or has accepted what they gave in donations. After all I believe the wealth is someone's tears

God does not accept bribes and certainly not from pirates, God is omnipotent he created and owns everything.

Ill gotten gains are not for the Lord. So, even though this place was built up on this wealth, it may not be blessed.
