So How Was Your Day?

My day went as follows:
We took my brother, his wife, and dog to the airport.
We drove back to our condo to pick up our other sis in law and had papers notarized at the bank.
We drove back to the condo, and bought a new air conditioning system. Ours is still good and working, but my husband wants peace of mind. You definitely want a working air conditioner in Florida, especially when you're away for 8 months of the year.
We drove to West Palm Beach to pick up a second car for the season. Long story, but we got it for free!
I've had texts, Facebook messages, phone calls, and FaceTiming like it was going out of style!
I've been trying to myLot in between. Those notifications will get done! Promise! Thanks for understanding.
Now it's time for dinner. Where did the day go? So glad I'm retired. Lol!

Here we go again, I'm exhausted ............. I did so much, keypunching all day, made spaghetti, cleaned the litter boxes and played.
Now I'm sittin here keypunchin somemore. Need to get some points on another site so I'll be back later.

@DianneN Yes well... I can't afford to retire yet! LOL
Going to be a long week.. one of my coworkers is taking time off so I have to pick up a couple extra hours. Will mean a nice paycheck.. but I'm going to be drained this weekend.. and I have a busy weekend coming up!

@katsmeow1213 You sound like my sis in law who we drove to the airport today. She takes on extra shifts at the hospital for anyone who asks, just so they let her have her vacation days when she needs them. She is exhausted, too. Me, I never got an extra paycheck, even if I worked at school until 8:30 on a Friday night. I hope you catch your second wind this weekend. Sounds as if you will need it big time!

My husband and I went down the road to my nephew's house. He just had surgery for a deviated septum and can't cut wood for his stove that warms his house. We worked for an hour to get is log splitter to start and nope we didn't get it. He is not sure why it won't start so he will look at it tomorrow. Then hubby and I came home took showers and went to Red Lobster for dinner.

@DianneN He thinks he does but I sure don't, and I actually enjoy splitting the logs, but I do have to admit the guys do the heavy lifting while I just push the lever to start the splitter on it's way. I do help pick up the finished logs though.

I was doing a work venture yesterday. Suffice it to say, it is well paying but hectic and never really goes according to plan. I had to drive to a different area and then come back here..The whole thing took longer than it should have, due to circumstances, but traffic wasn't bad.

I still try my hardest. I finished them all and woke up to many more. I still lost many, but will go through each discussion and get back to those I've missed. Eventually. It's so difficult, but I'm OCD in that respect. Thanks. Hope tomorrow won't be too bad for you. Today killed me.

I missed this post from yesterday! Well, by now I can't remember yesterday 
(seems like being a mom and juggling schedules and such, all the days become a blur 
). I didn't make it here too long, so I have way too many notifications to work on . . . but now I gotta go run an errand

@just4him I certainly appreciate your prayers!!! He was tested Monday. There is some growth in range and strength, but not enough to make a huge difference. But, it is still growth, nonetheless, and we'll take it. Your prayers are very helpful and welcome.
