Someone is coming to inspect the motor-home

We have a Leyland Tiger bus which we converted to a motor-home. We've had a lot of fun in it since we finished the conversion and it has served us well. However we have now put it up for sale and someone is coming to look at it on Saturday.
While it is kept reasonably clean and tidy it does collect a few cobwebs and dust when it is not being used. So there is a major push to get it tickety-boo (where did that word originate?) before the prospective buyer comes.
We are leaving quite a few of the fittings in it – cutlery, crockery, bedding, etc. Everything has been taken out, cleaned, sorted and replaced. The bad news is that it is 40C today. We've stopped for the moment and will do a bit more early tomorrow before it gets so hot.
It is Australia Day here and later this afternoon we are going into Bunbury to watch the fireworks. It should be fun.

Tickety-boo is another Aussie slang?

@JudyEv Hope the prospective buyer is satisfied and will buy it. Do you feel a little sad in parting with the Motor Home?

The interior of your motor home looks so tiday and space-saving Ms. Judy. It's sad that you're selling it away just like I did when our Isuzu Hilander was sold early this month.

@sunrisefan Yes, you're right. The caravan is lovely too. It has the same size bed but with the corners rounded so you can get round it easier. And it has lots of cupboards, good size fridge and shower. It will suit us very well.

@JudyEv The caravan you posted sometime though is beautiful too. I remember it had a fairly large bed and plenty of cupboards, right?

@JudyEv oh, i thought it was many years old and you went on road trips as a family. yes, i remember her.
i did notice the back of the chair and wondered if it folded. so you remove the table then push the chairs together to form an extra bed?

@hereandthere We remove the table leg and the table-top lowers down to form the bed base. The four cushions (two on each chair) form the mattress and we put an padded cover over the cushions to make them more comfortable. We then make the bed in the normal way with sheets, etc.

It took us several years to do the work and we've had the use of it for four or five years. Mostly it is just Vince and I but the table will collapse to make a single bed. We always have a friend that comes to a music festival with us and we also supported her on a long walk that she did.

@teamfreak16 I haven't worked out whether it's best to start with old notifications or the latest ones. I keep changing my mind.

It's nice to have one. You don't need it anymore so you put it up for sale?

Vince is getting a bit old to be driving such a big bus and it can be hard to park and go to some areas.

Wow 40c! That is very hot. I like the motor home! It's kind of nostalgic for me, we once went on a road-trip with my grandmother with the motor home when she was alive.
