Every person in the world has a passion, and I think it is great to figure it out and pursue them early on in life.
I myself have gone through a lot to figure out what I love doing. I have gone through different hobbies like martial arts, singing, playing the guitar, and developing software. All of them are enjoyable to some extent, but I don't consider them my passion.
My passion lies in cooking, I like cooking even though I'm discouraged by my parents. My parents are cautious, and they would like to prevent accidents, since most of the process in cooking would somewhat put me at risk of getting burned or cut. Another reason is that learning to cook is somewhat expensive, because of the materials needed, and the ingredients used.
I have always liked cooking, ever since I was in middle school. I would try to make myself some sort of food, which ends up tasting horrible. In my family, my father, is the most experienced with cooking. My mother on the other hand sees cooking as a chore, because of the different tools that needs to be washed after a cooking session. My siblings on the other hand is somewhat neutral regarding cooking, they know how to cook simple stuff, and occasionally cooks for themselves when they feel like it.
I have little experience in cooking, but I always find myself getting interested in watching television shows that involves cooking one way or another. Although it sounds like a chore to cook, I find it enjoyable especially experimenting on a new recipe. As of now I'm just learning to cook with online resources, and I hope that I get to learn more about it through time.
So, My Lotters what is your passion in life?

I like writing as well, just not as much as learning to cook. :)

I love to write and watch movies and read series of books.
But hey! If you can apply for a scholarship. And I hope that your parents will understand that it is impossible for us not to get hurt. Why not invest time in baking.
I work in an office and got papercuts on my hands accidentally. I hope you can pursue your dream soon so you'll have more time to enjoy the journey and experience the ups and downs till victory arise. May Jesus Bless you more with wisdom and creativity.

Thank you very much! I think I'm ok with learning the basics, and just simply cooking for fun. Being able to make money off of it might be a good incentive though. :)
