Hey there !! Any idea if we have an app for Mylot for smart-phone users? The web interface is itself good, but having an app would be so amazing and easy to work with Mylot.. Are there any plans for getting in the near future ..

@smileyhema yeah, that's true but I guess Mobile site is good enough.. I check the site every few minutes and I am pretty excited and happy to get connected to new friends in one day :)

Hi @aseemchandna : yes, even I use mobile website. One main thing I miss is notification. With native app, it is easy to get notified, isn't it? Now, it is very hard to keep refreshing for checking notifications..

@aseemchandna : Though we won't have any native-app notification, but as a workaround we could use the e-mail settings given in Mylot. We could enable the feed notification in the respective e-mail service like Yahoo or Gmail which will pop-up a notification in mobile.

No, there is no app and nor are there any plans for one. You will have all the benefits an app would give if you simply create a shortcut on your Home screen to the page you prefer to see first (I like to set the Most Recent Discussions as my home page). It is easiest to make a shortcut if you use the Chrome browser (in Android) or the native browser in iOS.

Yes, I could presume that people are happy with this and most of them are comfortable working with laptop to access myLot. But that's okay. I got used to the available thingy now.. =)

Well even if we don't have it yet here it works fine... My only problem is when I have a very slow connection.. But if not I can easily upload new discussions and comments.

Yes, true. The site hangs at times for me when I post discussions.. also it is good via wifi and not through mobile data.
