My Favorite Extracurricular Activity

January 26, 2017 11:45am CST
As a writer the sole concern of my life is how to ink a story into the white paper. So when i am not writing stuff i try to socialize with people as much as i can. During this i just listen, listen & listen. So listening to people is my favorite extracurricular activity which helps me to use people life experiences into my writing. Length of my listening session depends on two things the body odor and the gender of the talking person. If the body odor is freakish it happens to create ruckus in my nostrils which then send signals to my brain to drain. Ahh! compatible body odor lets my listening capacity to go high five. As far second condition if by chance female is elaborating the nuisances of a story & spicing it up with her little lies I listen carefully. During my listening sessions it takes a great deal of girth for truth to come out from the tummy of my beloved talkers. Every bloody one is holding a dirty secretive truth under the sweet wrapper of lies. This needs time, cajoling, acceptance of their point of view or some popcorn to peel out. Still I enjoy it to wobble their tummy to get the precious words which might become part of my next story. As per my experience the most truthful and unique stories cometh during one on one interaction. So I usually avoid group listening. More than two is just a crowd for me. Tell me about your favorite activity…

Going to McDonald and eat a lot there is my favorite activity with my books to read. Listening is something I do when someone needs me just to listen to their pain or happy story is a much more of bonding as friends or to comfort one.

My favorite activity? Reading a book to a bunch of enthusiastic 4-year-olds. Or playing whatever I want on a guitar.
