In almost every house in the world you observe five basic things which is very common to everyone. A bulb for lightening the space, a computer right above the table, a telephone which needs some dusting, a television for your favorite sitcom and a refrigerator to cool down your food. These five wonders of modern science are so etched into our daily routine that we now can’t comprehend a life without them. The scientific names behind these marvelous household items which crept during my investigation are Grame Bell, Thomas Edison, Charles Babbage, Oliver Evans and Charles Francis Jenkins. And to my surprise all these names are of scientist & engineer which somehow have same nationality i.e. American.
The society which is futuristic & give importance to creative & innovative ideas is likely to be dominant one. Meanwhile in India people are so much fanatical about theoretical aspect of academic study. As if kid’s whole self worth just depends on the percentile or grade he obtains in his examination. All his creative zeal & innovative spirit usually kicked out of the window by their respective parents.
A salute of respect for all those creative & innovative minds, that helped our society to transform from caveman to modern day human. Who destroyed the boundaries that are superimposed by society in the name of culture and consistently worked on new ideas and helped this world to progress & prosper.

I think the best thing is for academic achievement to be balanced with creativity and innovation. If you want to see what happens when you have creativity without academic achievement, take a look at what the US has become in the last decade... I really liked reading your thoughts here, and that's a great Picasso quote.
