Traffic is the great equalizer!

Traffic is indeed the great equalizer. Anybody from all walks of life can be stuck in traffic. I saw one celebrity here in the Philippines who opted to take the train because she was stuck in traffic. This is really something because our trains can be fully packed with people during rush hour. I doubt she would be comfortable riding that. With this though I just realize when it comes to heavy traffic, we are all equal!

You are so right! Here, someone will speed by us, only to be sitting at the next traffic light. So, what is the big hurry.

We would still get to our destination so you are right, what is the big hurry.

Traffic backed up at interchange of I-405 and the Santa Monica Freeway, headed north.
That is certainly true in Southern California. Our freeways are a mess on work days. Fortunately, I only face this when I have to travel during the holiday season. Where I live on the Central Coast of California, we don't have much traffic unless there's an accident or road construction. I took this photo on December 27 on the way home from Orange County. Most of the day traffic was light because it was still a holiday. Traffic was congested at this interchange.

Truly so. In fact, I feel a poor pedestrian is luckier than those sitting in posh AC cars at such times.

Yes, there is one time we had a very bad traffic jam, those in cars got it worse than pedestrians because they can't leave their cars while the pedestrians were able to walk home.
