Does kitty love me, or my laptop?

I was sitting on the floor with my laptop when kitty finally woke up and came over to me from her bed which is nearby. Knowing I have to go to work later, I wanted to give her some undivided attention (as well as save my laptop from yet another "page fault error", which I'm not entirely sure what that is, but I think is computer speak for "cat on keyboard", because it only happens when she decides to claim it as her lounging spot).
So I closed the laptop and put it aside to lay down next to her on the floor. She gives me a couple of "kitty kisses" as I call it (she licks my face. lol) and then she turned around and went right back to bed. I'm pretty sure she was more interested in the laptop!

Cats are jealous creatures. Try pretending you are reading a book or something and she might come up to you, cats normally come up to their owners when they are distracted. Or just you know...toys, toys will help haha!

LOL yes....the other day, instead of the computer, I spread out my resume and a bunch of notes to prepare for a phone interview....she plopped down right in the middle of it.
The toys...she likes to pretend she doesn't like toys....actually that is going to be the topic of my next post I'm working on in a minute....lol :)

@fluffysue With cats they are so stubborn haha you have to make it seem like you are not paying attention but also paying attention. They are so weird but I love learning about their complex minds.

@DesirousDreamer Yes, it is very interesting! I think they are smarter than a lot of people think.

@scarlet_woman I think mine would if I let her, especially since I often eat at the coffee table, which she considers her territory.

It's funny, there are a lot of things people say "all cats do", but they really have their own personalities and preferences. I hear other people say cats jump on counters and knock stuff over, but mine never does that. (although if you leave a glass out at coffee-table level or lower, she will try to drink out of it, but she'll never knock it over! lol) Mine never meows for food or anything (she hardly ever meows at all), but she will "beg" with her eyes when she sees ME eating.

She gave you kitty kisses and licked you so I believe she cares for you.
