Why does all of my technology go out at once?

A couple of weeks ago, my emergency cell phone wouldn't work, and I had to struggle with my carrier to get it back up. Right after that, my regular phone died, and I had to get new rechargeable batteries to get it up and running again. Then I got some weird message from Norton that my anti-virus protection had a problem.
Last night, I started getting distortion in the right channel of my beloved main stereo, and I spent about three hours replacing cables, spraying De-Oxit on everything, and in general trying to solve the problem. Nothing worked.
Today, I tried to call my afternoon kid client's parents on my regular phone, and found the buttons weren't working. I couldn't call out. Think goodness I have my emergency phone back up and running.
Should I ask for technological prayers? No, just send thoughts of electrons flowing as they should. Do you believe in "When it rains, it pours?"

@fishtiger58 Feast or famine seems to apply in a lot of areas. I'm using solid state in my stereo right now, but the sound is good. My land line phone is tenuous, but I'm able to use it.

OH dear we usually find things happen like that in threes too! It must be an omen or at least some kind of conspiracy,

@TheHorse Or blame it on Brexit as most things are blamed on that currently!

I do believe in that. Negative events after another... But I try to be patient now coz I will probably lose my mind. Last year at this exact same date, all bad things came to knock on my door. I just sit back and eat some ice cream after.

Yes I do believe when it rains it pours. Things can happen so fast, time you fix one thing, then something else goes wrong.

Isn't that always the way? All I can say is when it rains it pours!

That's the way it's been with me lately. I had phone trouble, and spent two or three attempts trying to get a replacement that actually worked. At the same time my computer was giving me trouble, so i replaced the hard drive. And my vehicle has spent more time in the shop the past couple months, than out of it.

LMFAO! I believe in replacing last centuries Dixie cups and string with a REAL cell phone, pony! If you did that, you might have a phone worth owning, instead of having to replace old and worn out parts to get a phone running again.
Yes, I can explain how to fix the buttons on your house phone so they work correctly again. SMH! (It would be easier to simply replace the phone with a new one, but since I am only offering to tell you how to fix your phone, not do the work for you, it might be cost effective (read MUCH CHEAPER!) to repair it rather than spend the $5 for a new, working handset. (grinning and teasing you.)
I do hope you are having a good day, pony!

If I didn't believe in it, I certainly would after all of that.
