To those who have cats...what kind of cat do you have and how did you get it?

I have two kittens however they are mother and child. The year old kitten is called honey (I named both the cats) and she is all black with a couple of white hairs on her chest, she is half siamese and so has huge saucer eyes that are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Her son is called Linus he's about 4 months old I think, and he is exactly the same as his mother although where she has bright grren eyes his have a brown tinge to them, and of course he's half the size of her. My boyfriends friend and business partner lives above a pub with his family and they have lots of animals. We were asked if we wanted one of honeys (at the time she was called Tink) kittens to which we were agreed, however Honey kept hiding the kittens (due to the unstable atmosphere of living above a pub) to keep them safe, so I suggested that we rescue Honey as she was only a year old and had a litter of kittens already and was certainly not safe where she was. Then they found the kittens and I suggested rescuing one of the kittens along with honey, now they are both very healthy and happy.

We have two, a tabby and a persian. We adopted them from the local shelter.
