Finally, the executive order banning the entry of Refugees from Syria and other 7 countries has been announced.
Yesterday Mr. Donald has announced the ban on the entry of Syrian Refugees and the Muslims from other 7 countries. The countries were Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Lybia, Sudan, and Yemen. The ban will be for 90 days and it is not clear still how many countries are likely to be added to the list. The order bans about 134 million from entering the U.S.However, the order opens the door for Christian Refugees.
In the opening section of the Executive order, Mr. Trump says " The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law. In addition, the United States should not admit those who engage in acts of bigotry or hatred...or those who would oppress Americans of any race, gender, or sexual orientation."
It is not clear how the name of Pakistan which has been a haven for Islamic terrorism and also the main country which patronized the ISIS leader Mr. Osama Bin Laden after the WTC attack has been overlooked

As to why Pakistan was not mentioned—I would guess the president has business interests there. I say that without any prior knowledge. I don't know where he has business interests. But that would be my first guess and I could be wrong.
As for favoring immigrants on the basis of religion, even if it's only for 90 days, I personally find that repugnant. It is the very antithesis of our ideals and the ideals of the Western world.

@shivamani10 Maybe. Or, maybe not. I hope it is eliminated.
There is a difference between forbidden travel between countries, like North Korea, with which the United States has no diplomatic relations, and segregating travel from certain countries based on the religion practiced by the person travelling. I personally find that utterly disgusting. In the first place, how do you determine the religion of the person? What's to keep as dishonest person from lying? So immediately the law keeps moral, decent people out. Doesn't make sense to me.
And why those countries and not others? Why is Saudi Arabia not on the list? Most of the 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia.
I can only hope that the courts overturn this executive order in short order. The office of president is just that: he is not an autocrat.

@msiduri The Muslims of these 7 countries are creating troubles in the U.S and as expected the trouble with Syrian Refugees is always there. One more thing is that Pakistan is going to be added in the list shortly. The most disgusting fact is that the Muslims who are now protesting against the Ban order are taking the name of Democracy and the Right to Live terms which are unknown in their countries and are from the country that do not have Democracy at all.

i dont feel that anyone's belief in a particular religion is a reliable factor in predicting whether a person would resort to violence or not .Else ,there wouldnt have been any crimes in Christian, Hindu or Buddhist nations .there are fanatics in every religion.

Yes. But, no other religious group is creating so much of havoc internationally and terrorizing the people killing them indiscriminately . We should also remember that the first two letters of ISIS stand for ISLAMIC STATE

@shivamani10 also ,it were countries like Britain, Portugal, France which colonised many nations and crippled them economically.didnt they use power to subjugate nations?
the basic point is that there is no end to man's greed for power.some do it under the pretext of establishing peace(.Are civilians not killed in war),some use terrorist means but in both cases its the innocent human being whose blood is shed.

While I worry that thousands of innocent, non-violent Muslims will suffer, I'm glad for this because they said they would put terrorists in the mix that they send over. Also, Obama denied refuge to Christians and tried to flood the country with Muslims when he knew there would be terrorists among them. I'm so relieved we have a president that is acting in this country's interest after 8 years of someone that did everything in his power to ruin us.

How on Earth can you claim that when it seems that Trump is doing everything in his power to appoint billionaires who have no qualifications for the positions to fill his cabinet? He's not acting in this country's interests when he attempts to suppress the free press. He's not acting in this country's interests when he signs executive orders that prohibit government agencies from sharing scientific studies with the American public, or when he states that he's in favor of torturing prisoners (which could very well endanger American prisoners/hostages held abroad).
Throw in how he seems to be more concerned about the size of the crowds that show up for him than actually running the country responsibly, and it's a recipe for disaster.

@yukimori We are obviously in disagreement about a lot of things! But that's what makes this a great country, we can disagree and not be persecuted for it--usually. Yes, that thing about the crowds is stupid and infantile but nobody is perfect. I think if he can control his ego he'll do a better job. I don't agree with torture, either. But there are several cabinet appointees that may not have gov't experience but they have real life experience that prepares them for the job.
I think this guy is a lot better than the previous guy who took away my health insurance and made a new policy unaffordable for me. Who refused asylum to Christians trying to flee persecution in Muslim countries. Who encouraged millions of illegal aliens to come on over and make money to send home to Mexico while not paying taxes here.
We will see what happens but I really think Trump has the best interests of the country at heart.

We must remember the statement made by Mr. during against Mr. Obama in which he openly expressed his opinion that Mr. Obama has determined to ruin the Christianity and its culture internationally and that he is not a Christian. Mr. Donald has openly expressed his view and support to the Christians in the very first few lines of the executive orders showing favor to the Christians. The order openly denies entry to the refugees of Syria and the muslims coming from the other 7 countries.

But, the order is not about Shiites or sunnies but only Muslims. Even the people of the U.S are expressing worry as to why the name of Pakistan was not included in the list and are hopeful that it would be included in the list soon. Better, the name of India also is included soon at least for 90 days

Iranians don't have a very dissimilar view on Israel, America's close ally. That, or some other reasons, makes Iran sort of an enemy state. We all know that. As for Pakistan, it has been an 'ally' too and provides strategic advantage. US would think twice before marking it as a bad nation.

@hora_fugit These 7 countries are seemingly different as Sunnies, and Shiites on Religious grounds but are all one and the same after landing on the soil of U.S and start their operations.

This may not be the reason for the inclusion. Had it been so Mr. Obama was friendly with India from the beginning. Mr. Trump is a true Christians and has been observing the punishments that the Christians were undergoing internationally. He even criticized Obama also in this aspect who did nothing for them but also allowed the Muslims freely into the U.S.
On that account , the Muslims in India should also be banned from entering into the U.S so that they would feel the responsibility in denying support to the Islamic Terrorism. As you said rightly that soon the order should include all Indian Muslims also into the list.

Really like the way you have provided a pure, unadulterated news. At least I think it is that way...
The opening section is good and should be applied to those already residing there, as well.

Forget about other countries for the moment and talk about USA only. All he is doing is creating more division withing America itself. When would he stop and when would his team realize and take action? Is he ready if another Civil War broke out?

If I remember it right, earlier Civil War broke out on the question of slavery. Should the opponents of slavery have kept quiet, fearing a Civil War may break out?

Why should there be a civil war? Just because, he is taking steps for the protection of the U.S and the Christianity which was never cared for by his predecessors, should we expect a civil war in U.S?

@hora_fugit No, they shouldn't have kept quite. I am saying that Trump went head first with all the Executive Orders when people are already volatile. I am not saying that illegal immigration/ terrorism are not problems neither I am saying that he should keep quiet about it. Far fro it.
But adding fuel to the fire is far from doing away with the problem.
