Hi, Canada!

So after my slightly new and improved hairdo, which my husband loves, we went out to dinner.
We ate at a downtown restaurant outdoors. When we stood up to leave, a cute gray haired couple sitting next to us stopped me to ask where I have my hair done and who does it. Her husband wrote the phone number, name, and address on a paper napkin. As we chatted, they told us they are from London and Windsor, Canada, and came down on Remembrance Day, our Veterans Day. I learned of those places and such on myLot and thought of my Canadian friends.
We had to excuse ourselves, because my hubby was getting antsy to purchase theater tickets for a couple of plays at the box office of our local Playhouse before it closed. Not one, but five different women stopped to ask me who did my hair. I wondered how bad I looked before!
And today, after shopping and lunch with my hubby, as I entered our lobby, two other women wanted the name and number of my hairdresser.
Did I mention that I just returned from a walk with my friend. Guess whose phone number she wants?
I hope I'm able to get an appointment or at least a cut of the profits at the new little salon I visit. Are some secrets worth keeping?
A shout out to my younger son, whose Happy Birthday it is today!

It is not much different at all, just a bit shorter and a layer or two put in. It reminds my husband of a style I wore 10 years ago. The whole ordeal is just mind boggling. I've had people in the past ask me where I have my hair done, but one was in Bermuda, some in Connecticut, where I live, and one in China.

I need to find a stylist like that! I go to the cheap places, sadly.. I would love to do something different with my hair though..

. She is so reasonable compared to home. It's almost worth flying down every 4-6 weeks if I could find a cheap flight.

Thank you. I'm thrilled that the prices are lower than her other salon, and much, much than the one I go to at home. It looked good before I washed it. Lol!
Thanks again. My son seems to be having a wonderful birthday. Wish I could be there with him. Hope you're feeling a bit better.

That would be awesome if your hair dresser gave you say 10% off a future haircut for each referral he receives from you! I wonder if these women are going to get the same style as you have since they liked it so much. What a wonderful feeling it must have been to have gotten so many compliments in one day on how great you hair looked.

I couldn't believe those women! I must have looked like an ugly thing before. My hairdresser just shortened it a bit and added a long layer. One lady from Canada had naturally wavy chin length gray hair. I doubt she can get the same haircut. The others, perhaps, but all hair is so different. I'd hate to see myself coming and going though.

I've often been asked who colours my hair, or what is the name of the colour.
The Man upstairs colours my hair. Name of colour, natural.
I've been blessed with a pleasing mix if greys.
