Do you have a decent job? Pets are definitely a big responsibility and the vet can get expensive. My dog's medication costs like 50$ per month (she has arthritis). As far as saving goes, lately I'm bad at it. I was previously unemployed so I never spent money because I didn't have any. Now that I have money I really want to spend it allll the time! But I have student loans to pay off so I can't. I usually try to put away 2/3 of it and allow myself to have the other 1/3.

I would have to pay a penalty deposit of $300 and every month pet rent would be $10 for my cat.The vet would cost money and cat litter and cat food.
