“Scaramouche, Scarmouche
Will you do the fandango?”
Okay, I get it. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time and adored fanatically by Queen fans. The song is the peak of the progressive rock era from the “A Night at the Opera” album and charted at Billboard Hot 100 #9. Just when I thought I was rid of it, along came “Wayne’s World” sending it back to #2 in 1992. It is not so much that I hate this pretentious six minute Freddie Mercury epic as it is being shoved down my throat as so awesome. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is played every 15 minutes on classic rock radio. I find “Bohemian Rhapsody” overblown but that is just me bucking the majority while the rest of you heartily like the song.
Enjoy, Queen fans.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by Freddie Mercury for the band's 1975 album A Night at the Opera. The song has ...

I am sure most people concur with you. I think Tie Your Mother Down is the best Queen.

OH my Oh my. Shock Horror. I love Bohemian Rhapsody. I remember when it first hit our screens and our ears my brother and I were quite astonished by it. I guess my taste in music will not be quite like yours! This is a legendary song.

@JohnRoberts I much prefer the original version which for the time was quite stunning.
I had to wait till a piece of classical music I was listening to, to finished before listening to the version you put on which I agree is not the best.

lol I love this song but I can definitely understand you being tired of it. There have been may songs that I've loved but because they were overplayed, I grew tired of hearing them.

I know everyone will disagree with me as it's a beloved song. We can't always be 100% in agreement.

This song is so overrated. When it comes it the radio, I know it's going to go on for at least 9 hours, so have to change station fast.

As you know, I do love this song; however, I haven't listened to FM radio full-time since 1984, so I don't hear this song 497 times in an eight-hour work shift (although the last time I temped somewhere with the radio going that was the approximate number of times it was played). This is a song, because of its complexities and variations, can get very old and very tedious very VERY quickly. While I don't agree, I certainly understand.

I have nothing against this song but there are other Queen songs I like a lot better.

I love it, but the guy doing our tile listens to classic rock radio, and I've heard it about ten times in the past week. Don't need to hear it again for quite awhile.

I appreciate the very unique structure and depth of a lyrics and melody changes etc - but it isn't my favorite either
