Could it have been bad breath?

I know you probably think Ally is giving Boobear the evil eye but she wasn't, in fact Ally wanted to know what Boobear had eaten. I get to see this kind of thing all the time and it always cracks me up.
Do you have dogs and cats?
Do they get along?
Does your cat like to be close to their dog?

Cute picture. It does look like the dog is waiting for an answer. There was a time when I had a cat and dog. The cat was my dog's pet. She would lick him awake in the morning as a way of saying hello or good morning. They were great friends. It didn't start out that way.

It is very entertaining watching pets like this interact- I'm sure there's never a dull moment.

When I had my dog she came first and then the cat came. The dog loved her and I believe she loved the dog. She was angry and did not know how to express herself very well when the dog got sick and then the dog had to be put to sleep because nothing that was tried worked to get her well. Believe me I tried because I loved her so much and then it was the cat and me. When my cat left me then I got Sophie and now it is just us two girls.

When I moved out on my own I got a cat before I got a dog, she was a wonderful kitty who accepted the puppy I got when she was already 6 years old. Those 2 were never actually friends but they tolerated each other.

I only have a cat. My boyfriend got a puppy at Christmas and brings it over once a week or so. My cat hides upstairs in my daughter's room away from it. The puppy has learned to climb the stairs and found her up there. The puppy chased my poor 14 year old cat around the bedroom and down the stairs. I felt bad for my poor kitty.

We have had cats and dogs living together. I can write a book on the companionship of our Bull Terrier and one of our cats. There was great togetherness. They even shared a piece of meat.

@rebelann And to think that he was a bull terrier and bull terriers are supposed to be ferocious!

We do not have cats, but a friend has both cats and dogs and they get along for the most part. They like terrorizing each other. lol

Yes, not always, and yes. One cat has taken the huff with the younger dog altogether, and appears at feeding time, only to melt into the surrounding landscape thereafter. The other cat sleeps nestled up to the older dog, and is slowly training the younger one where the boundaries are...

We used to have cats and a dog at home. One of the cats hated the dog whilst the other two tolerated him.

Right now only 1 of the kitties likes the dog while the newest 2 cats are unsure if they like her.

The dogs and cats like each other. No clue why they all like each other so much, but it works.

I have a dog and a rabbit that get along wonderfully and snuggle, which is odd since my dog is a husky and are supposed to have high pray drives. But Lily (my dog) treats Kallie (my rabbit) like her baby. Put Lily outside though and she tries to catch and eat the wild rabbits around! Your animals are very cute!

That's sounds like most of my dogs have been. They've always been ok with my cats but not with strangers.
