My Sister's Birthday

It's my little sister's birthday. She get's to drive as of today! Plus, we're getting a two hour delay from school (just for her ). The way we do birthdays is to spread all the special stuff out over several days so you don't just have one day crammed full of stuff, then nothing. For her's, we started on Sunday, and it'll probably go for a couple more days. How do you celebrate birthdays?

It is interesting how families do birthday celebrations so differently. We celebrate our birthdays just the actual day of the birthday.

@libster We usually go out to eat somewhere or have cake and ice cream. We had parties with our friends and relatives when the kids were small.

@shaggin That sounds like fun. Sometimes small is better. There's less stress.

That sounds like fun! She got some time off too to go get her license from the DMV.

@themrs We go to the same place, but she gets to drive since I don't really care to.
