I forgot to enter tags

In all of my discussions before, I always enter tags before I submit it. But in my last discussion, I forgot to enter even one. And I guess that's my shortest discussion. I know it's not that important. It will just make your discussion more searchable if you use tags. But I used to do it every time, entering the maximum of five tags. It's just that I forgot it in my last discussion. Do you also enter tags in your discussions? What do you think will be the benefits of it?

You can edit and enter the tags though, right? I don't put tags on all discussions, only some.

I usually enter in a couple of tags on my posts, but if I forget, I don't worry about it, or I might go back and edit to add them in. I don't usually tag my responses, though, I don't really see the point in that.

Me too, I only enter tags in my own started discussions. Yes, it's good that we can still add tags if we forgot it.

I used to add it. but i dont think its of much use. normally no one is going to search for any subject here.they just go into one as a chain.

Hello there !! I raised a similar post on tags. Do check it from my discussions. Tags are used to organise your post in myLot. It helps to make your post/ discussion more searchable and thus helps in bringing visibility to your post. For eg. A user wants to know about "tips to reduce weight" and uses the "search" box at the top to find the results. If you had written a post on the same and perfectly tagged, your discussion will be listed in the search results and the user may hop in to your post and leave a comment.
