A couple of weeks ago i was coming down with a huge cold. I was taking some medication to try and get better but it wasnt working that well. My boyfriends mother then made me a very good tea. It was ginger, lemon and honey. Not only does it cleanse your body, it helps with the coughing and fever. Have you ever taken this tea or do you drink some other home remedy to get better?

I have had tea flavored with ginger and it surprised me that I liked it. I think natural remedies are better then taking cold medicines.

Me too. After drinking that tee i was thinking of buying some ginger to have at home for this. I have heard also that even if not used as a remedy, ginger tea helps clean out toxins in the body and prevents colds and other sicknesses.

@shaggin I have read that it improves the imune sistem so by drinking it,besides cleaning out impurities,it also builds our imune system and prevents us better from colds. Almost like oranges because ginger has a huge amount of vitamin C also.

Usually when i got a sore throat i would drink green tea with cinnamon and honey. It is also another tea i am very fond of to help treat a cold.

Yes it is. I think it is the only tea i can actually drink without sugar also. So it ends up being healthier than the other teas i drink.

It is very good and is actually the only tea i can drink without sugar. The honey sweetens it up so it isnt necessary to put additional sugar.
