Don't live in darkness

Always have a flashlight.
There came a time where my mom and I would have flashlights all over the house, it made life easier if the power were to go out.
But now, we just use our phones.
We do still have a few flashlights floating around here and there but the batteries are dying and are very dim.
The phone flashlights are just so handy, I mean we basically always have our phones near us so if we need extra light, alas! the lovely phone is there right where I need it instead of looking through junk drawers and clutter to find a flashlight that is probably dead anyway.
Do you rely on a phone for a flashlight or are you sticking with your handy dandy torch?

We are old fashioned and we have flashlights around the house. We still don't have cell phones but we are getting closer to getting one....

Phones are handy, I used mine a lot, but I'm also addicted so it makes sense why I have one haha! flashlights are good to have and candles too. We have a lot of candles.

@PainsOnSlate Haha, that is a good reason to have a phone, they are also really good in emergencies.

Especially handy for power outages, yes. Candles can be dangerous. I recently got myself a good LED portable light and I love it. I use it at night when I walk my dog.

We have a lot of candles but if we have a power outage we make sure to keep them away from anything haha
Oooh that sounds like a good kind of light! My mom uses a flashlight when she goes on walks.

That is the safe thing to do. Also putting them places where hopefully they don't get knocked over on accident.
Yes, I too have learned the necessity of flash lights where I live. There are no street lights way out here except if the owner of the houses make their own basically. I try not to walk at night for that reason.

I keep both flashlight and mobile phone in handy. When in a rush, like if it's only needed for a few seconds or a minute or two, I usually rely on my phone's torch light. But during power outage, we prefer to use the flash light to save the battery of our phones since we don't know the exact time frame as to how long the outage would take.

That is true and a good idea. My mom has a charger pack for phones so if our battery was low we can charge a little with that in case of an emergency.
