National groundhog day

A myth exists about 6 more weeks of winter and weather the groundhog sees its shadow.

If you think about it, it's always 6 more weeks of winter. I heard on the news this morning that the groundhog has predicted early spring only 18 times.

It is not winter weather on Groundhog Day because it is warm in Louisiana.

@workathomefan I know about warm winters in Louisiana. I used to live in Metairie and then in Belle Chasse. I miss the warm weather but not the fire ants and mosquitos.

@AllyraeM Louisiana is supposed to have warm winters though! The mid-Atlantic and East Coast are not!! I just need a few delays..... Maybe a few snow days......

I forgot today is Groundhog Day. It's been so crazy, I don't care what the weather does anymore. Some consistency would be nice, though.
