I have a friend who is a full housewife,
I am working outside the home with the hope of getting a Doctorate Degree.
At times I feel I'm better than my friend who is a full housewife.
And sometimes I feel she's better than I am, especially cooking at the right time and taking a lot of time to rest. Then it will seem as if I am missing.
Now I want to know which one is better and godly, peradventure I can convince my husband to be a full housewife if it is the best.
Thank you for reading.

I experienced being a housewife for about 3 years , after I resigned from my job. And after 3 years , i felt so bored and as if I lack the confidence already. So, I worked again and had this job. I never felt so much better and confident. I am happy that I have my own money and can buy anything I would like to buy without asking my husband.

That's a great question. I don't know how I would feel about having to be home all the time.

For me it depends. Right now i want to be a full time mom with parttime work during my free time only. While my kids are still young age 4 and 2 i want to invest in their heart and memories the by the time that they are 7 i can have a full time job and invest in their future.

If my job allowed it, I would do the same. Staying home with them until they can start school would be lovely.

I am a career woman and my sister is a housewife/ stay at home mom. At times, I'm worried for her confidence and independence suffering because she lives on a military base far away and doesn't drive.
I think that in America, women have it hard because there are very few options to allow you to have time away from your job/career to bond with your child during those very important formative years, even though other first world countries make it possible.

@pureme if/when my husband and I have a child, if we don't time the birth for when school is out, my child will have to enter daycare at SIX WEEKS.

Do you have any children?
To me, I like to work and look after my family at the same time. We are super women!!

Depends! Both roles are equally responsible. The happiest households are those in which both partners strive to support each other in whatever way they can for the better of the union.
