LOL--this is the second post I've begun with an "expletive" or whatever the correct word is.
I was trying to get ice out of our ice maker, and while it was making a grinding noise, nothing was coming out.
So, I opened the freezer door (the icemaker is in our refrigerator/freezer) and all of this broken up/cubed ice was clogging the chute where the ice comes out to the front of the freezer door.
Sooo... I tried digging some of the ice out of the chute, which of course resulted in a lot of it falling all over the floor, so I had to get down on the kitchen floor and wipe it up.
Ah, modern appliances...

Our ice maker hasn't worked in a long time normally we use the ice trays and dump it in the ice maker or buy the bags of ice but they get stuck just the same.
Sometimes technology is great because it makes things easier but that is only if and when they work and it seems like technology breaks easily sometimes.

Buying bags of ice is something we've never done.
