Sounds that feel good, ASMR.  ASMR stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response.  People who have the ability can get a mildly pleasurable tingle response from listening to certain sounds.  From what I've read either people have it, or they don't  I think I have a very mild case of it myself.  The most popular sounds that trigger this response seem to be things like paper crumpling, tissue, scratch sounds, whispers.  There are a whole large variety of these videos on YouTube, from people making scratch scratch sounds, to guided ASMR where they tell you a nice story or a do some role play, whispering to you as though you're getting a massage done.  Only a few of the sounds seem to work for me, some of the sounds (lip smacking) make me want to punch someone lol.  One thing is for sure some of the videos are very relaxing - ASMR or no.  Here's a link to one I like.

There are all sorts of sensory stuff that some experience and others don't. I have a friend who sees each letter as a different colour. That's pretty cool too.

Oh Synesthesia? That's awesome! My mom and I have the one where we "hear" words we read. Didn't know it was any different than anyone else - until we saw a TV special on it. I would love the one with colors, that seems amazing!

@FayeHazel I wonder how they found these things out because if you're like this it is 'normal' for you. You're hardly likely to go around saying 'I hear words I read' if you think everyone is the same. Sorry but I have to ask - what heppens when you come across a word you've never seen before?

My favorite ASMRtist is Taylor darling... I do notice that Thor Guy is the most popular male armrtist for women. I prefer the female ones.
