Hey All...
This is my first discussion on myLot.
I got married last November and now its just me and my husband, staying in our new house.
I never entered kitchen at my mom's... so every day is an experiment :D :D
I have decided to pen down the healthy options that I consider, to ensure that I am heading in the right direction. Please pour down all your healthy cooking tips/ habits.
To start with, I steamed corn (maize) and sauteed the same in olive oil. After that, I added onion and garnished it with coriander.
I know this is basic and this can be better. Let me know what you all think....

So you are from Mumbai. I was there too. Welcome to myLot. Your popcorn is fine for beginners. But do not just rest there. Remember to reach your husband's heart it has to be through his stomach (lol)

Being newly married is fun. You get to build everything from scratch. When we were first married, experimenting in the kitchen was fun. Although sometimes … the meals didn't turn out quite right. We look back and laugh. So will you and your mate. Wish we had the TV chefs and cooking shows when I first got married. I suggest you watch them. You'll pick up a lot of cooking tips. Congratulations! May you have many years of togetherness and happiness.

Welcome to myLot.
So, from what I understand, you only learn to cook after you got married right?
