does anyone know how offers work

when i go on offers it show me a bunch of surveys, each worth 4 cents so i try do a survey that seems interesting but when i complete the survey am now redirected to a bunch of other stuff and when i try to close then it keep saying am giving up my point
i want to know how to complete the surveys and get the 4 cents each time

I do offers at other sites but I never do them at mylot.
