What is your feeling when trying to motivate someone

I just tried to motivate some one and he motivated i m feeling really good he is going tomorrow finally to get what he really want Finally he is going to join theater I really wish he succeed in his life and his future will perfect

Good! And hoping that I can motivate myself just how did I motivate other people. Because sometimes how we are so great to encourage others but the sad thing we can't motivate ourselves the same way.
