@musufa619 Sorry, I guess I'm a bit odd! It's been a long time since I was in school. Can you give me an example?

@musufa619 - zero doesn't go well with multiplication. It makes the result zero which is again nothing but zero :-)

@musufa619 listen
(-a)b+ab=(-a)b+ab
(-a)b+ab=(-a)b+ab
(-a)b+ab=b(a-a)
(-a)b+ab=b(a-a)
(-a)b+ab=b(0)
(-a)b+ab=b(0)
(-a)b+ab=0
(-a)b+ab=0
(-a)b=-ab
(-a)b=-ab
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(-b)+(-a)b
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(-b)+(-a)b
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(b-b)
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(b-b)
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(0)
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=(-a)(0)
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=0
(-a)(-b)+(-ab)=0
*(-a)(-b)=ab
