Everyone is doing their own thing right now, so I am going to relax on myLot for a while.
We have guests for the weekend. Our nephew from New York City and his girlfriend from Los Angeles. My brother, my newphew's dad, has a long time friend staying with him at his condo for the weekend.
We all met up for breakfast at the Dune Deck Cafe, our favorite place for breakfast on the Atlantic Ocean. We took a long walk on the beach afterward.
The weather has been perfect.
It's so wonderful being with family so far from home. It's pure joy!

So the Dune Deck Cafe is ON the Atlantic Ocean. Must be a bit wet, I would imagine.

@DianneN I agree! It's been too long. I really, really need to come visit. I just wish I had a free weekend coming up soon that would allow me to break free and come visit!

I like spending time with family near and far too, but we don't have any beaches nearby to hang out at.
Didn't your husband have back surgery last fall sometime? Has he healed up totally from that by now?

@DianneN My father would eat and then stop, even if there was still food on his plate. I never understood how he could do that. I always have to fight to stop eating.

@much2say We have tickets already to fly back April 5. My hubs has to meet with our accountant to prepare for taxes. We used to leave here April 1st and take our time driving home with mini vacations in Savannah, Charleston, etc. for 2-3 days. I'd love to stay here until May 1, but he won't give me more than 4 months.
