There is a local gym that has a pickleball class on Monday. I used to go last year, but when it started to get hot, I went swimming instead. I need the exercise badly, but I have other things to do on Monday..and somehow I think the instructor is perturbed with me. I know I will not stay the entire length of the class if I do go..I guess I will contact her...hopefully she isn't mad..she seemed to take it personally I didn;t want to play pickleball but when it is 90 degrees out I don't want to be running around a gym.. I get hot and my face gets red and flushed..and I hate it. Better to do it when the temps are not so hot in my book. Do you have things you should do, but don't want to.

Curious to know what pickleball is? Never heard of this in the UK and sounds interesting. I'm always struggling to find the motivation to get to the gym and always feel a sense of achievement when I do eventually make it.

It is a game kind of a cross between tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It is very active though.
