Why can't people not judge you by the way you look? Why not judge you for the person who you are? I am a big woman however I only get judges on my appearance instead of who I am on the inside. I always have felt looks don't make the person. The person on the inside makes the person! Just because someone might be or feel they are fat and ugly on the outside, does that make them have an ugly heart and soul? I don't think so!!!!!!

People judge the non "normal" grant whether people are fat, skinny, maybe not the most prettiest, or even the prettiest, EVERYONE gets judged. And we just have to learn to ignore it, and learn to love who we are. Because when we ignore it, it becomes a normal thing and people don't judge it anymore. I am a big woman as well, always have been and I have messed up ribs and a lot of bad things with my body because of people bullying, it is because I didn't fight back with people is when they stopped messing me. or when I asked them what if people did the same thing to them, they realized they were not perfect either. Because no one is perfect. We just need to learn to love ourselves and then we can love each other.

I agree with you. I feel it is a shame that people will judge so quickly by an appearance when they could be letting go one of the best friends they will ever have due to such a superficial idea.

Interesting. I worked retail in a women's clothing store for five years. What I will say is that EVERYONE is judged- fat, thin, attractive, not conventionally attractive, etc. What I loved about my job helping women find clothes they liked was explaining to them that YOU are in control of how people view you. If you feel that your outside is not accurately reflecting your inside, then change the outside so that it matches the inside.
I'm not talking about no longer being a big woman, I mean being honest with yourself about how you present yourself versus what you WANT people to think when they see you.
I figured this out when I kept getting mistaken for a student but I was actually the TEACHER!!

I believe in what you said. It's hoe you are as a person that matters, not how you look.
